One of our employees is Jolly Trivedi a seasoned IT professional with 12 years of industry experience, currently pursuing a Master’s in Cyber Security. With a total of 14 years of experience, Jolly excels in Microsoft Technologies, including ASP.Net, C#, MVC, and Microsoft Azure. She has seven years of experience as a .Net developer and over six years of leadership roles, including Technical Lead, Technical Manager, Scrum Master, and Project Manager, making them a valuable asset in software development and security.
• Can you tell us a little about yourself and your background?
I am Jolly Trivedi from India. I am an experienced IT professional with 12 years of industry expertise, currently pursuing a Master’s in ICT with a major in Cyber Security. Seeking to transition my career into the dynamic field of Cyber Security. My previous experiences include roles of software developer, technical lead, scrum master, Technical Manager, and Solution Consultant.
• What is your academic background? What did you study and where?
I have a Graduation in Electrical Engineering, a Master’s in Computer Applications, a graduate Diploma in Cyber Law, and a graduate Program in Advanced Computers from India.
• How many languages do you speak?
I speak English(professional), Finnish(beginner), Gujarati & Hindi (Mother Tongue).
• How did you come to join Binare? Was it a specific role you were seeking, or was it the company itself that attracted you?
Embarking on a journey in the realm of Cyber Security as a graduate student has been both exciting and rewarding. As I delve deeper into the intricacies of securing emerging technologies, the domain of IoT Security has particularly captured my attention. It is in this context that I discovered Binare, an innovative startup that specializes in addressing the critical security challenges posed by the Internet of Things (IoT) landscape.
Binare’s exclusive focus on IoT security aligns perfectly with my academic background and career aspirations. Being a startup, Binare offers an environment that thrives on innovation and the pursuit of novel solutions. This resonates with my passion for exploring new ways to address evolving cybersecurity challenges. I’m drawn to the idea of contributing to an organization that fosters creative problem-solving and encourages fresh perspectives. The startup environment is renowned for providing interns with a unique chance to wear multiple hats and gain comprehensive experience across various facets of the business. With Binare, I see the potential to not only immerse myself in IoT security but also to contribute actively to other aspects of the company’s growth journey.

• How did you find out about Binare and what sparked your interest?
My curiosity led me to actively research and explore opportunities in the field of IoT security. Through my network, online platforms, and conversations with mentors, I discovered Binare and the remarkable work they are doing in IoT security. The more I learned about the startup’s vision, culture, and dedication to cybersecurity, the more convinced I became that this is an organization where I could learn, contribute, and grow.
• Can you share your experience during the application and interview process at Binare?
It was a very smooth process as I was constantly able to approach and discuss with Andrei regarding the opportunity and expectations from me before joining.
• What steps do you take for continuous learning and self-improvement?
According to me, continuous learning and self-improvement are ongoing processes. I use a mix of resources such as books, online courses, videos, podcasts, workshops, and interactive platforms to gain insights from various perspectives. I try to explore cybersecurity topics beyond my comfort zone to broaden my horizons and stimulate intellectual growth. I participate in forums, discussion groups, and online communities related to Cyber Security. Networking with others helps me foster knowledge exchange.
